MiaSole Sets Flexible PV Efficiency World Record at 15.5 Percent

Latest efficiency gains in large area flexible PV modules outperform strategic roadmap and set new industry benchmark

MiaSolé, a leading manufacturer of copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin-film photovoltaic solar panels, announced that the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has confirmed a 15.5 percent aperture area efficiency on commercial size flexible PV module (total area 1.68m2).
